Lorri was raised in the near north in Ontario, Canada spending time outdoors and appreciating the magic of everything in nature. The wonder and fascination translated into a love of learning about everything under the sun, the moon and the stars.

“Self-taught in art, picking it up after a long career in technology, I approach my art depending on how the memory or thought moves me. That may mean representing a particular subject it in a different medium depending on the emotion it evokes.

I prepare initial sketches and notes of my art and consider colour palette before starting.”
